For many, Play Therapy is a new concept and people often wonder about the effectiveness of this modality. Thanks to a team of researchers lead by Dr. Sue Bratton, a data-base was created, housing up-to-date research and meta-analyses from the field of Play Therapy.

Dr. Bruce Perry has done considerable research on trauma and the brain. This website connects to Child Trauma Academy, where there are a host of resources on neurosequential brain development and trauma informed practice.

Developed by Dr. Stephen Porges, Polyvagal Theory is integral to understanding dysregulation in children.
